    Hello! I came from the video on how to update the BIOS on the Dell Optiplex 745 USFF. How do I update the BIOS with a USB drive?

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY День тому

      Hello. You should have commented on that video, so other people could also see the response and benefit from it. You need to download the BIOS executable file from Dell website. Then you need to create an MS-DOS bootable USB and copy the BIOS executable file on the drive. Then you boot from USB drive in MS-DOS and run the BIOS executable file.

    Hello. At work I have to connect devices to 220 volts. But the devices may be faulty. My knowledge of electrical engineering is low. Is it possible to connect this protective device to the output of a laboratory transformer and gradually raise the voltage to turn on the computer power supply? Because it is unknown whether the computer power supply circuit is working or not...

    The lugs don't correspond to standard: the joint should be soldered. So result can't be good with this lugs: "tube" is opened instead of been compressed. wire should fill the whole lug after crimping. It doesn't looks so. Possible, a smaller lug should be used.

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY 3 дні тому

      If I'm not mistaking, I mention in the video why I used the bigger one, altough it was not the right size. Something to do with the size of the screw hole.

    • @Hevgen
      @Hevgen 2 дні тому

      @@UltimateDIY no. You take big first, then smaller. But it seems too big too...

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY 2 дні тому

      Watched again myself. Wanted to use the one with bigger center hole, but realised it's too big for the cable, so went with the smallest in the set, that is actually marked 1.5, same as the cable, but it seems still too large. I don't have any smaller than that.

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY 2 дні тому

    First I saw a film with your complains about WIFI speed, but as I can see you decided to stay with this device. I'm in front of decision which LTE router to buy. And it looks like all of them (the consumer ones) sux in this or that aspect. Can you extend wifi antena as you did with LTE? I can see only 3, all are for LTE?

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY 3 дні тому

      I am not using the WiFi part of this router, only LTE. So the first video is still valid. You can also extend the WiFi antenna, but I don't have high hopes on your gains. As the other 2 are internal.

After studying the mechanism this is my suggestion and it works 100% Use the same key and gently slide it in above the key that is stuck - NOT ALL THE WAY IN THOUGH.
